Graduation

Congratulations on your expected graduation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

There are two graduation ceremonies.

1. Convocation—The 2013 Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health convocation ceremony will be held at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 9:00 am EST. All 2012-13 Public Health graduates are invited to participate. Detailed information will be sent to all Summer 2012, Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 graduates in February 2013.

• The speaker for the Public Health Convocation ceremony will be Nelson K. Sewankambo, Principal of the Makerere University of Health Sciences and Dean Emeritus of the School of Medicine in Uganda.
• Shuttle Service between JHSPH and the Meyerhoff will run from 7:30AM - 9:30AM, and 11AM -2:30PM. 

1. Commencement—The 2013 Johns Hopkins University commencement ceremony will be held at Homewood Field on Thursday, May 23, 2013.

The Graduating Student Checklist can be viewed here.  Graduating students are asked to review the list and address any relevant items.

The waitlist for additional guest tickets will open Friday, April 12, 2013 at 12:30 in the afternoon.  Graduating students who are participating in the ceremony can add their name to the waitlist here.  Additional tickets, along with the 3 guaranteed guest tickets, will be distributed with regalia. The waitlist will close on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 4:00PM.

Regalia delivery and pick up is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, April 22nd and 23rd in E9519 from 9am - 5pm.  Regalia will be shipped to those requesting mail delivery by April 24th.  Guest tickets for the Convocation ceremony will be delivered with regalia.

Details regarding the spring ceremonies will be provided to all participating graduates with their regalia.

Convocation Ceremony Photos

Commencement Photos, Inc., will be the company taking photos as graduates walk across the stage. Information can be found here. Contact customer service at (978) 851-5924 or email them to get an ID number. The ID number will also be in the mailer you receive prior to the ceremony.
