MPH Community Practicum Course

The opportunities below are for the 2007-2008 MPH Community Practicum and PHASE Internships (Public Health Applications for Student Exeprience). These field experiences in Applied Public Health are non-paid, for-credit, field experiences that allow you to apply your public health skills "at the elbow" of experienced public health practitioners. You must apply and be accepted prior to registering for the appropriate academic credit. Both are part-time placements for 1 to 2 half-days per week in state or local public health agencies or community-based organizations.

If you are interested in the MPH Community Practicum Course, you must apply online (DEADLINE is 5 pm on Mon, Sept 24th). On this webpage, you will find a list of available opportunities for the MPH Community Practicum course. Students are required to register for the course in BOTH 2nd and 3rd terms (weekly seminar meets on Tuesdays, 3:30-4:20 pm).
