Sommer Scholars
Named in honor of Alfred Sommer, Dean Emeritus of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Hopkins Sommer Scholars Program aims to develop the next generation of public health leaders. Up to 15 master of public health and 15 doctoral candidates are awarded scholarships each year. Students are selected for their superior academic abilities and leadership potential.

Brown Scholars
The C. Sylvia and Eddie C. Brown Community Health Scholarship is designed to train leaders who are committed to eliminating health disparities in Baltimore. Each year, scholarships are awarded to three doctoral students who have an interest in improving the health and quality of life of underserved, vulnerable and low income populations.

Johnson & Johnson Scholars
The Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Scholars Program provides funding for doctoral students to assist community health care organizations across the country in building capacity and improving access to quality health care for medically underserved populations.

Global Health Scholars
Offered by the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health, the Global Health Scholarships program supports domestic and international students aspiring to work in an international context. These full-tuition scholarships are awarded to Master of Public Health or Master of Health Science students with extraordinary academic achievement and potential to contribute to the field of global health.
