SOURCE (Student Outreach Resource Center)

SOURCE Student Governing Board

Students from each of our three schools (Medicine, Nursing and the Bloomberg School of Public Health) are selected to serve on SOURCE's Governing Board.

Students give vital feedback regarding meetings, activities and events that SOURCE sponsors and co-sponsors. SOURCE's Student Governing Board works to increase the visibility of community engagement and service-learning on the medical campus by encouraging other students to utilize SOURCE and its resources, as well as to spread the word regarding various service-based student groups in East Baltimore.

How to Join SOURCE's Student Governing Board

*SOURCE is currently accepting applications to the SOURCE Student Governing Board from summer start Accelerated Nursing students and new MPH students.*

Students submit applications to SOURCE. These applications are reviewed by and voted on by SOURCE's full Governing Board (including deans, faculty, students, and non-profit leaders). Top applicants will be invited to interview with SOURCE Governing Board members. After interviews are conducted, SOURCE's Governing Board will select the new student members of the board.

PLEASE NOTE: Application deadline for 2014-2015 summer start Accelerated Nursing and new MPH students is Wednesday, July 16 by 11:59 pm. Applications for all other 2014-2015 students will be accepted in the fall and a deadline will be announced at that time.
