Public Health Practice & Training

Our goal is to promote excellence in public health practice at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and beyond. As the Associate Dean of Practice, my mission is to help students, faculty and others make an impact through practice. I bring my experience serving as the Baltimore City Health Commissioner, Principal Deputy Commissioner at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and Secretary of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
