Many of the resources located here are products of the best practices component of the MCI which compiles, indexes and makes available through electronic linkages, best practices related to school connectedness, academic engagement, inclusion, participation, and school climate. The focus of the best practices resource site will be at the classroom, school, parent and community levels. While attention will be on military children, this resource site will compile the entire body of literature with empirical evidence for impact. Additionally, the resource site will host web-based resources for school teachers, administrators and other school personnel on the special needs of military children and strategies schools can use to better meet those needs. |
