The Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Program, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, is pleased to announce a grant-funding opportunity for non-profit community based healthcare organizations. The program’s goal is to assist community-based, non-profit organizations whose primary goal is to provide creative and effective access to quality health care for the medically underserved. Special consideration is given to projects improving access to care to underserved populations. This year’s grant focus will promote wellness programs and healthy life choices related to diabetes and obesity. Prevention and other interventions that address these health conditions in high risk groups will receive priority consideration. Additional consideration will be given to programs focusing on quality of care for children, including adolescents.
