The Department offers a limited number of NIH-supported predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowship opportunities for U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
In addition, the Department has fellowships for individuals from African, Asian and South-American countries. Decisions regarding the distribution of funds are made by committees representing the various training programs and headed by the principal investigators.
