The Delta Omega Scientific Poster Competition is an annual event to give students the opportunity to display their research and receive recognition for their work. The Delta Omega Alpha Chapter give cash awards for First ($500), Second ($300), and Third ($200) Prizes in two categories: Applied Research (Epidemiologic Public Health Research) and Laboratory Research (Basic Science Research). The Chapter selects one of the First Place winners to present his or her poster at the annual APHA meeting. The Scientific Poster Competition is open to students and fellows enrolled in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, who recently have engaged in a noteworthy scholarly investigation or scientific study during the period of enrollment. Questions regarding the Scientific Poster Competition can be directed to the Office of External Affairs by phone at 410-614-0794, or email Lauren Ferretti at lferrett@jhsph.edu .
