Baltimore Food and Faith

The Center for a Livable Future has taken steps to develop an interfaith network of congregations and faith organizations that seek to raise awareness about problems associated with our current food system and to identify ways that faith communities can work together to address some of these issues. Two meetings have been held to gauge interest among the Baltimore faith communities in addressing food systems issues.  Twenty six attendees representing 15 different congregations participated and expressed interest in continuing this effort.  CLF is proposing to play a coordinating and technical assistance role.
