Young woman using computerTravel can be expensive on a student’s budget. We understand that.

So, for those prospective students who can’t make the trip to Baltimore, we offer a series of virtual information sessions beginning in September.

“The Ins and Outs of Applying to the Bloomberg School”

During this session, admissions representatives will discuss our many academic programs and how to apply. Participants will have a chance to ask questions and our staff will do our best to answer. This session is offered twice: once at noon on September 26 and again at noon on October 31.

“MHA, MHS, MPH, MPP, MSPH, & ScM – What’s the Difference?”

Our school offers the alphabet soup in public health master’s degrees. In this session, admissions representatives will cover them all, explaining the differences, application requirements and more. This session is offered at noon on October 8.

All sessions are recorded and posted to the website for your later reference.

For more on our virtual sessions – including how to attend or view a previously recorded session – visit our website.

See you online!

Back to School ChalkboardAre you coming to Fall Orientation?*

As a follow-up to last week’s post about traffic, we wanted to remind you of the transportation options for coming to campus.

For more information on commuting to and from campus, see the Transportation pages under Student Life or the even more detailed “Getting Around” on the Admitted Student website (login and password required).

See you later this week!

*Orientation is for admitted students who replied positively to their offer of admission and completed an enrollment form. Space is limited and the event is not appropriate for prospective students and/or guests.

Grand Prix raceFor us, the biggest event of Labor Day weekend isn’t the DC Blues Festival, the opening of the Maryland Renaissance Festival or even my birthday. It’s Fall Orientation!

But no matter how focused we might be on that one event, there are others you should be aware of.

Road closures related to the Grand Prix of Baltimore go into effect Monday, August 26.  Please plan accordingly for increased traffic - especially if you have to travel through downtown.
