The Bloomberg School MPH program maintains a challenging yet highly rewarding and engaging curriculum for its students.
All students must earn a total of 80 units for graduation. At least 60 of the 80 units must be earned through Bloomberg School formal coursework (i.e., not special studies or interdivisional). And at least 16 of the 80 units must be earned through "face-to-face" coursework (i.e., not internet-based or special studies).
In addition to meeting a set of academic standards and maintaining a code of ethics, all students must complete a goals analysis plan with the first two terms of enrollment.
By the end of their studies, all students complete the core curriculum, a practicum exercise and a capstone project.
To help students along, the Bloomberg School offers flexibility in terms of degree concentrations and potential customizing. All students also work with an academic advisor throughout their time here.
