Manisha Bharti, MPH 2005
My MPH degree allows me to gain access to and earn respect from leading public health professionals. Decision makers in government, foundations, non-profits, and the private sector worldwide instantly understand that with an education from Johns Hopkins, I have benefited from and been extraordinarily well prepared by the world-class expertise of Hopkins’ faculty.
Yet more important than my exposure to the best thought leadership on public health best practice and research available worldwide, Hopkins taught me that better global health outcomes are the sum of our efforts to make lives better on an individual level. I have brought the passion instilled in me at Hopkins to my work every day. In the course of a career with some of the leading organizations addressing the world’s most pressing health and development issues, I bring the belief that the most important aspect of public health is not the programs, policies, data or administration, but is the people.
