ALACRITY Center Studies on Intervention Scale-Up

The Center includes three core pilot studies focused on developing and evaluating implementation strategies to scale up evidence-based interventions shown to be effective in clinical trials at addressing cardiovascular risk factors in people with serious mental illness.

While these interventions have been shown to be effective in clinical trials, they are currently not widely implemented in community mental health programs. These three studies focus on scaling-up interventions shown to achieve weight loss, smoking cessation, and hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and dyslipidemia control among people with serious mental illness. 

The Center’s Methods Core includes multiple research projects designed to advance the science around scale-up of evidence-based interventions to address cardiovascular risk in serious mental illness, including systems science and advanced quantitative methods projects. (P50MH115842)
