Preventing Child Sexual Abuse within Institutions and Organizations

Registration is now open for our free annual symposium, which will will focus on how institutions and organizations that serve children can prevent child sexual abuse.
Our panel this year will feature participants from the Netflix series, The Keepers. Our special guests will share their experiences uncovering and dealing with child sexual abuse at their Catholic high school, Archbishop Keough in Baltimore, MD.
Maryland Delegate C.T. Wilson will deliver the keynote address, and JHSPH Dean Ellen MacKenzie will welcome attendees.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUS)
New this year: We are in the process of applying for CEUs for social workers and counselors. We will update our website and the registration site as more information on CEUs becomes available.

The Future of Organizational Child Sexual Abuse Prevention
This year's lunch and learn features a luncheon and talk by Maggie Ingram, PhD candidate in the Department of Mental Health. Lunch is $10, and space is limited, so please register early.
CHILD MALTREATMENT POSTER SESSION
Following Ms. Ingram's talk, please join us for our free student poster session. Posters will feature all aspects of child maltreatment, including child sexual abuse, child physical abuse and neglect, bullying, peer-on-peer harassment and prevention policy and practice by graduate and undergraduate students.
Winners of the poster session competition will be announced during the session and receive cash prizes. If you are a student and would like to submit a poster abstract, please click here. The deadline to submit abstracts is Tuesday, March 27.
