Courtesy of CDCJHSPH investigators design and conduct phase I and II clinical trials and characterize the cellular and humoral responses to experimental vaccines. Specific areas of expertise include the evaluation of vaccines for influenza, RSV, and other respiratory viruses; dengue virus, West Nile virus, and other flaviviruses; and enteric bacterial pathogens. Researchers are also investigating how immune reconstitution following antiretroviral therapy impacts humoral and cellular immune responses to measles vaccine.
