Available to passionate injury prevention students and professionals, alike, from around the globe, our training programs are available throughout the year via a number of offerings.

Global Road Safety Leadership Course

Since 2016, JH-IIRU and the Global Road Safety Partnership – with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies – have trained more than 300 passionate road safety professionals from 50 low- and middle-income countries via the Global Road Safety Leadership Course.

Vietnam

Working with Hanoi School of Public Health – and through support from Fogarty International Center – we set out to strengthen research capacity on injury and trauma in Vietnam, as well as the nation’s long-term health, economic, and societal consequences through an innovative model of sustainable capacity development.

Uganda

Partnering with Makerere University School of Public Health, we conducted a rapid assessment of emergency medical services in Kampala, Uganda using an innovative tool based on health systems frameworks.

Pakistan

Thanks to support from the World Health Organization, we set out to address knowledge games regarding dissemination of prevention strategies to reduce childhood injuries in the home in Pakistan.
