- Describe the role of federal labor and employment legislation in protecting workplace safety and health in the United States.
- Discuss the means by which classes of workers may be excluded from labor or employment protections.
- Consider the effects of this exclusion on workers’ access to the services of health professionals, and upon their workplace health.
