Nurses and nursing assistants know the importance of patient safety, but is their own safety a priority in their workplace? Hospital-based healthcare workers have a higher incidence of injury and illness than other workers in hazardous jobs. This training will provide resources, identify gaps and show nursing personnel how to bolster safety culture and leadership in their workplace, which in turn will positively impact patient safety.

5.0 contact hours of CNE are approved by the DC Board of Nursing, Johns Hopkins University Education and Research Center.
