Supermarket Environment Interventions

Researchers at CLF and the Bloomberg School are studying how changes to a market environment encourage low-income shoppers to purchase more healthy groceries.


From a study being conducted by the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health at Food Depot in Southwest Baltimore. Pamela Surkan is the principal investigator, and Anne Palmer, CLF, is a co-investigator. Findings to be published in the spring of 2013. Photos by Mike Milli and Pamela Surkan.
