Gabriel Innes, VMD, is a second year PhD student in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. Gabriel’s main interests involve global health at the animal, human, and environmental interface. This includes food security, zoonosis, and antibiotic resistance. Gabriel’s dissertation research is focused on antibiotic resistance burden in the human, agriculture, and small animal sectors. Gabriel received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Schreyer’s Honors College at Pennsylvania State University and veterinary medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Gabriel has held positions at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization headquarters. Gabriel’s adviser is Meghan Davis, PhD.
