Congratulations to Carol Thompson on a JAMA paper (included in our Featured Publications) that describes a clinical trial of a novel transition and long-term self-management support intervention for COPD patients. The intervention resulted in significantly fewer COPD-related hospitalizations and emergency department visits and better health-related quality of life at 6 months after discharge.

Congratulations to our biostatistics team (Rick Thompson, Gayane Yenokyan, Josh Betz, Elizabeth Sugar and Michael Rosenblum) and members of the data coordinating center, on publishing the primary analysis of MISTIE trial of minimally invasive catheter evacuation of intracerebral hemorrhage.
