Center Facilitated Project With Guizhou Medical University

Training and Education Centers First Project

In July 2018, Ellen Mackenzie, Dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, came to Guizhou Medical University with a delegation from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. They had an insightful discussion on the need for Chinese educational improvements and potential. The future projects may include visiting and research scholars’ program, clinical research, and other healthcare-related training programs.

Dean Mackenzie expressed the willingness of the Johns Hopkins to provide help within its capacity and hoped that the two parties could further talks on specific projects. The Center will play a vital role in bridging the gaps and facilitate between Johns Hopkins University and Guizhou Medical University.

In Spring 2019, a team of Guizhou Medical University will take on Dean Mackenzie's offer to pay a visit to Johns Hopkins University to discuss further cooperation.
