IHSP is pleased to announce a Request for Applications for 2017-2018. The awards provide financial resources in support of innovative, timely, applied public health policy projects led by faculty at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
This is given annually to the student who authors the most compelling paper that analyzes a serious policy problem facing the City of Baltimore and proposes feasible solutions. The contest is intended to encourage fresh thinking about the challenges facing Baltimore City. The Selection Committee decides on the allocation of the $5,000 award.
The program brings overseas experts each year to the Johns Hopkins University for a semester or year of research and writing. This program sponsors a yearly conference in an international city.
