Students receive information for program and online courses

 May – Aug. 2021 (Rolling Basis)

Introduction to Online Learning

July – Aug. 2021

Students will register for online courses via the JHSPH registration portal using the created “JHED ID”

Aug. – Sept. 2021

Mandatory courses: Academic Research and Ethics (online, non-credit), Tobacco Prevention and Control (online, 3 credits), Strategic Communication Planning (online, 4 credits)

*Please note that scholarship awardees who do not complete the online coursework with a minimum grade of ‘B’ will no longer receive the IGTC Scholarship

1st Term: Sept. – Oct. 2021

Mandatory courses: Tobacco Regulatory Science (online, 4 credits), Leadership in Tobacco Control (online, 2 credits)

*Please note that scholarship awardees who do not complete the online coursework with a minimum grade of ‘B’ will no longer receive the IGTC Scholarship

2nd Term: Oct. – Dec. 2021

Mandatory courses: Quantitative Methods for Tobacco Control (online, 4 credits), Professional Development Workshop: Writing for Results (online, 2 credits)

*Please note that scholarship awardees who do not complete the online coursework with a minimum grade of ‘B’ will no longer receive the IGTC Scholarship

3rd Term: Jan. – March 2022

Mandatory courses: Qualitative Methods for Tobacco Control (online, 3 credits), Implementation: Making Change Happen (online, 3 credits)

4th Term: March – May 2022
