Global Mental Health

Our Projects

Over the past two decades, we have conducted mental health research in more than 20 countries across 5 continents.

Our research has ranged from needs assessments and measurement development and validation through to intervention development and evaluation. We have worked collaboratively with local and international researchers, service providers, policy makers, and funders to ensure the research is useful and appropriate to the populations we are serving.

Two large ongoing projects include a USAID Victims of Torture Fund program on meeting the mental health needs of torture survivors globally and an NIMH funded program to scale up mental health services in Myanmar.
