Group Therapy Helps Ease Burden of AIDS in Uganda
Featured article in The New York Times examines Johns Hopkins research with individuals in Uganda struggling with depression and HIV/AIDS, and impact of mental health treatment.
As the field of global mental health continues to expand, our research team works closely with members of the press corps to provide information on best practices and evidence-based resources to the public. Our goal through this partnership is to improve public awareness, and make information easily accessible.
Our partnerships include domestic and international organizations, such as USAID and WHO, as well as with local ministries of health and direct mental health service providers. Through collaborations with these partners, we strive to reduce the treatment gap for quality mental health services in low-resource settings.
