The Center for Interpersonal Capacity in Health Care works to translate knowledge about interpersonal relationships in health care settings into practical models for improving the effectiveness of care in general. We have particular interests in the integration of mental health services into primary care and in genetic counseling. We extend our interests to community-based interventions that help individuals and families in stressful environments develop "voice" and mutuality that also further health and well-being.
