The Composite of Post Event Well-Being (COPEWELL) is a modeling tool grounded in established theory and empirical evidence. It explores the complex nature of community resilience as it pertains to disasters.

Since 2011, the COPEWELL project has been funded through grants and contracts provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The project team is a multi-disciplinary group of researchers and subject matter experts from the Johns Hopkins Center for Public Health Preparedness, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, and other partners.
