The Course Catalogue is a who, what, when, where, and how index to the Bloomberg School. It is published online each June and highlights School policies and resources.

A variety of policies are in place to help support and protect our students.

Academic Writing Resources

Bloomberg School students who want to improve their writing skills can access a number of classes and resources on campus.

  • The BSPH Writing Center pilot offers degree-seeking students free, individual conferences with experienced tutors, all of whom are careful and perceptive readers of all types of writing done at the School. 
  • The JHM Professional Development and Career Office offer several writing resources, including grant writing, for JHSPH doctoral and postdoctoral students.
  • The Welch Medical Library offers a variety of helpful writing resources and support.

English for Academic Purposes

This course is designed for students whose first language is not American English and/or whose higher education experience in U.S. institutions is limited. The class is offered free of charge only to enrolled degree-seeking Bloomberg School students. Students must obtain consent from the Student Affairs Office to take this class. Enrollment is limited to 15 students.
