Print Services

The Department of Marketing and Communications works with all departments and divisions at the Bloomberg School to create award-winning publications including brochures, posters, invitations, programs and booklets.

Planning a Publication
Publications require time and planning. Begin by asking basic questions. The answers will help you define your project.
Sample Publications and Production Times

Step 1: Initiating the Print Job
Note that we cannot start any project without a budget number on the form. The project begins with the online project request form.

Step 2: Schedules and Costs
Before we begin work, you must approve the budget and schedule we produce.

Step 3: Creating Final Copy
Work cannot begin until have we have received the final text (or copy) for your publication.

Step 4: Design and Production
Design and production may take 3 weeks or more depending on the number of projects on our list. The Department of Marketing and Communications may have 40-60 projects in various states of completion at any given point in time. If we cannot take on your project, we will help you find an approved vendor.

Step 5: Printing and Job Delivery
A small project printing takes 10 working days from the time the project leaves our office until the day it delivers. Larger jobs take more time.

Step 6: Tell Us How We Did
After your job is finished, you will receive an online survey via email. Your feedback will help us improve our services.
