Eat Healthy Monday

"We've all heard the warnings: Being overweight or obese increases your risk for serious health conditions ranging from coronary heart diseases, certain types of cancer and type 2 diabetes to premature death. While the root cause for America's obesity epidemic is hotly debated, one thing is clear, there are small, simple steps you can take that can help you take back control of your body weight. One simple tip I give my patients at the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center is to slow down and enjoy the food you're eating. Studies suggest that eating until you are very full and eating quickly are associated with being overweight."
