Dr. Zeger and Dr. Liang Among Most Highly Cited Researchers

Published

Scott Zeger, PhD, professor and chair of the Department of Biostatistics, and Kung-Yee Liang, PhD, professor in Biostatistics, were recently named to the ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) list of Highly Cited Researchers.

Joining the list of 232 researchers is an unusual and distinctive honor. ISI determines inclusion to the list by indexing the world’s scholarly literature from a wide range of subjects and collecting cited references from many millions of articles.

Jong-Shi Pang, PhD, professor at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, and Joel Spruck, PhD, professor with the Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, were also named to the list.

In October, Dr. Zeger was named one of the top 25 most cited mathematical scientists of the last decade by ISI’s Science Watch publication.
