Victoria B. Chou, PhD


Dr. Victoria B. Chou is trained as an infectious disease epidemiologist and her recent work has focused on the application of modeling approaches for estimating the impact of key maternal, neonatal, and child health interventions in low-resource settings. She has worked with diverse stakeholders in global health to advance the use of evidence-based approaches for strategic planning, advocacy, and program evaluation. She serves as the Project Lead for the VoICE (Value of Immunization Compendium of Evidence) project at IVAC and oversees collation of the scientific evidence base about the broad benefits of immunization. Dr. Chou has a MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and earned a PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Fulbright Fellow living in Nepal.
