Victoria B. Chou, PhD

Epidemiologist

Dr. Victoria B. Chou is trained as an infectious disease epidemiologist and her recent work has focused on tools for technical advocacy and the application of modeling approaches for maternal, neonatal, and child health in resource-limited settings. She has worked to advance the use of evidence-based approaches for strategic planning, advocacy, and program evaluation among diverse global health stakeholders. At IVAC, she leads the development of a suite of technical resources including the Value of Immunization Compendium of Evidence (VoICE) website, VIEW-hub platform, and the Pneumonia and Diarrhea Progress Report. She also leads a knowledge management partnership with Gavi focused on zero-dose children and contributes to the Coalition to Strengthen the HPV Immunization Community (CHIC). Dr. Chou has a MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has lived and worked in Nepal (as a Fulbright Fellow) and Uganda.
