Taylor Holroyd, MSPH

Doctoral Research Assistant

Taylor is a doctoral research assistant at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health currently working on the Strengthening Immunization Systems through Serosurveillance (SISS) project. She manages the systematic review and meta-analysis on the diagnostic accuracy of oral fluid, saliva, and dried blood spots compared to the gold standard of blood serum. Taylor is working to compile an evidence base to assess the feasibility and viability of these alternative diagnostic samples because serum can be logistically challenging to collect, transport, and store in low-resource settings. Taylor completed her BS at McGill University with a double major in Biology and Mathematics and obtained her MSPH at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Global Disease Epidemiology and Control.
