Research Associate

Onimitein is a research associate working on the Supporting, Mobilizing, and Accelerating Research for Tuberculosis Elimination (SMART4TB TA5) – Vaccine Readiness project. Her research interests center around the social and behavioral aspects of vaccine introduction. She is passionate about strengthening immunization programs, with a focus on vaccine coverage equity. Onimitein holds an MSPH in Social and Behavioral Interventions with a certificate in Vaccine Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a BS in Public Health with a minor in French from the University of Maryland, College Park.
