Kayur Mehta, MD, MSc.
Dr. Mehta is Assistant Scientist at IVAC. He is a pediatric infectious disease specialist with a focus on infectious disease epidemiology and maternal and child health, particularly in Indian settings. He is a co-investigator on the PREVAIL project that aims to evaluate the impact of the rollout of the Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) in India’s Universal Immunization Program. Dr. Mehta is also the Associate Director of Research Programs at the Johns Hopkins Maternal and Child Health Center India. He obtained his medical training in India and Nepal, and later specialized in infectious diseases at the University of Toronto. He received his Master of Science in Epidemiology from the McGill University, Canada.
