For its monumental work in India, Johns Hopkins receives USAID, CDC, NIH, and private foundation research funds approaching $10 million each year. At present more than 200 Hopkins faculty and staff are working in India. See the amazing results of more than 80 years of collaboration and dedication to advancing health across this dazzlingly diverse country.



John Hopkins and the country of Indonesia have a long, fruitful history of collaboration to improve public health for the Indonesian people. In honor of the Bloomberg School Centennial and Indonesia hosting the fourth International Conference on Family Planning in 2016, this report celebrates one of the university’s longest and most successful partnerships.

Johns Hopkins is creating the new Global Health Institute to collaborate in ways never before possible. Bringing together experts from public health, nursing, engineering, economics and public policy, we will build a "pipeline of discovery" to advance lifesaving international efforts in the areas of non-communicable diseases, injuries, infectious diseases, nutrition (food and food security), and the health of women and children.
