Interagency Personnel Agreement (IPA) with USAID


Summary

The Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor for Maternal and Child Survival (MCS) within the Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN) Officen will provide leadership in complex measurement issues to the Global Health Bureau in its MCS efforts, including collaboration with MCH, family planning, nutrition, and malaria programs. The Advisor will be responsible for organizing USAID's analytic work in MCS measurement and impact modeling globally and at country level to estimate intervention impact on mortality or the development of data-based scorecards for communicating impact. The Advisor will also be responsible for leading the USAID interface with various interagency (USG and non-USG) Technical Advisory Groups and working groups on various dimensions of MCS measurement, including mortality with the U.N.'s Interagency Group on Mortality Estimation and intervention coverage with Countdown to 2015. The Advisor will participate in strategic planning and resource allocation activities, stay current and share new knowledge on state-of-the art technical, policy, and programmatic developments, participate in technical working groups, task forces, and professional meetings, prepare and submit papers to professional journals and meetings, and facilitate global sharing and adoption of M&E best practices.
