Social networks, social resources, and HIV transmission


Summary

To study how the social organization of communities influences access to social resources and HIV transmission potential, especially among African-American men who have sex with men. The research will: 1) provide a foundation for innovative biobehavioral examinations of HIV transmission within community networks; and 2) inform development, implementation, and evaluation of bio-behavioral, social, and structural HIV intervention strategies.
