Understanding the Vectorial Components of Malaria Transmission in Macha

Summary

The goal of this project is to further expand our knowledge of the malaria vectors in the Macha region around MIAM. The specific aims are to further characterize the feeding and resting behavior of the principal vector An. arabiensis, to continue to monitor and characterize the community structure of malaria vectors in the area, and to identify and determine the temporal stability of An. arabiensis breeding sites in the two main study villages.
