Development of a Vaccine for Enterotoxigenic E coli

Baltimore, MD, United States

Summary

This project is developing and testing a multiepitope fusion antigen as a vaccine for enterotoxigenic E coli. This platform is unique in that a single fusion protein is able to express the multiple epitopes of the most common colonization factor antigens. Thus it is hoped to provide broad spectrum protection in a convenient and cost effective format.
