Developing Bayesian analytical approaches to estimation of pneumonia etiology

Baltimore, MD, United States

Summary

No methods exist to combine evidence from multiple measurements while also accounting for measurement error (sensitivity and specificity) to estimate pneumonia etiology. This project is to develop such an analytical method and the tools for general use, including visualization graphics. It is a collaboration between the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Departments of Biostatistics and International Health.
