Formative Research on Multiple Concurrent Partnerships in Malawi and Tanzania

Summary

The goal of this study is to develop an in-depth understanding of the relational dynamics and social context of concurrent sexual partnerships and their implications for HIV prevention in Tanzania and Malawi.

This project is funded by Research to Prevention (R2P), a 5-year HIV prevention program funded by USAID. R2P (www.jhsph.edu/r2p) is led by the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health and implemented by faculty throughout the University. It is managed by the Center for Communication Programs (CCP) in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
