Cost and Prevalence of Chronic Conditions and Injuries in Eastern Europe

Summary
This project will undertake four tasks in order to assess if USAID and USAID partner organizations should reassess their level of investment in chronic disease prevention and treatment and injury prevention and treatment. It will also allow them to identify programs that have proven successful in preventing and treating noncommunicable diseases in different countries. Early in the conduct of the project, the team will provide an operational definition of chronic diseases and injuries.
