Preventing or reducing the spread of epidemic- and pandemic-prone acute respiratory disease associated with health care in the community
This project was funded by the Infection Prevention and Control in Health Care - Biorisk Reduction for Dangerous Pathogens (BDP) in the Department of Epidemic and Pandemic Alert and Response (EPR) & the Office of Nursing and Midwifery at the World Health Organization. The goal of this project was to create and then study the usability of "learning objects" regarding H5N1, SARS, and ARDS of Potential Concern for use with HCWs and CHWs in India, Malaysia, Turkey, and Vietnam. Partners in this project were the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing KIMS Collaborating Center, the Victorian Order of Nursing (Canada), and the Case Western School of Nursing.
