HIV Serological and Behavioral Surveillance among Alcohol Venue Patrons in Botswana
This study will assess HIV prevalence and will estimate sexual risk behaviors associated with HIV transmission among adults attending alcohol-consumption venues in Gaborone, Botswana using Time Location Sampling.
This project is funded by Research to Prevention (R2P), a 5-year HIV prevention program funded by USAID. R2P (www.jhsph.edu/r2p) is led by the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health and implemented by faculty throughout the University. It is managed by the Center for Communication Programs (CCP) in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
