Overview
The photo above is one of my first selfies, at the 50th anniversary of City Lights Bookstore.
I am a biostatistician focused on studies of infectious diseases in low and middle income countries. I am involved in numerous cluster randomized trials; those involving vaccines are especially interesting, as they afford the opportunity to measure indirect effects of immunization. I am working on methods for the design, especially the randomization, of such trials, as well as methods of analysis of the resulting correlated data.
