Overview
Justin Mayhew, MPH is a Research Associate at the Center for American Indian Health, where he works on curricula for a variety of programs. Justin is interested in addressing health disparities and structural inequities in communities through health education. In his graduate studies, Justin led multiple research projects studying the implementation of new models of youth mentoring, and he worked with a charter school in Durham, NC to develop and deliver health education curricula for middle school students. Justin completed his BA in Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MPH in Health Behavior at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
