Overview
My research focuses on 1) children's mental health services use including access to (initiation, engagement, and retention) quality services and 2) maximizing treatment outcomes for childhood mood disorders. The goal of this program of research is to contribute to: better understanding of predictors, correlates, and outcomes of children's service use to inform policy; and development of targeted interventions to improve overall service engagement and access to quality services and to improve important public health outcomes (e.g., substance use, sexual risk behavior, recurrent or chronic mental health problems, etc.) for youth with mental illness.
